The Party of European Socialists welcomes the European Parliament resolution, passed today, which strongly supports global climate ambitions ahead of COP26. The Resolution calls for all G20 countries to be climate neutral by 2050, for international climate finance for developing countries to be scaled up, and for all countries to revise their contributions every five years. Progressives are focused on securing meaningful global commitments from the international event.
