Born in 1979. Polish human rights lawyer, academic teacher and civil society activist.
Author of a number of academic articles and reports on non-discrimination and human rights. Author and co-author of alternative reports to the UN treaty bodies.
Between 2019 and 2025 he served as a member of the Polish Parliament (Sejm). Member of the Committee of Justice and Human Rights and Committee of European Union Affairs in the Polish Parliament.
Initiator and chair of the LGBT+ Rights Parliamentary Intergroup in the Polish Parliament.
Between 2019 and 2025 Member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
Between 2023 and 2024 Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Poland.
Since June 2024 Member of the European Parliament. Head of the Polish Delegation to the S&D Group. Member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, member of the Committee of Legal Affairs, alternate member of the Committee of Constitutional Affairs.
