Mr Stanishev acknowledged once again the responsibility and consistency that PASOK has shown throughout this period, and that it is thanks to the courageous decisions of PASOK that Greece was kept on its feet.
Following the positive messages from the Eurozone Summit, Mr Stanishev said: “Following proposals from the Greek government, a deal between the Greek government and the Eurozone countries, IMF and ECB is within reach. We encourage all parties to press forward with talks to reach agreement for the stability of Europe, and the good of all citizens. A negative outcome which would see Greece leaving the euro is out of the question”.
