Participants discussed and assessed the recent EU measures to address the crisis on the dairy, pig meat, fruit and vegetables market, and which steps to take next.
They moreover took a look ahead on a post-2020 European Common Agriculture Policy (CAP) that must take better account of global climate and food security challenges, be more effective in its greening measures, simplify rules and unburden small and medium-sized enterprises and farmers.
