In 2013 the PES Council took place in Sofia, Bulgaria on 22 June. The Council unanimously adopted two resolutions and approved the PES Fundamental Programme. The first resolution is an appeal to increase the speed and substance of the European Youth Guarantee; the second resolution presents a roadmap for “A European Industrial Policy for growth and employment“. The Council also adopted the PES Fundamental Programme, a document reflecting our commitment to the common values of democracy, equality and solidarity and that will be defended by the PES common candidate during the 2014 EU elections.
