The pre-meeting is organized by the PES and the Maltese Labour Party and both Sergei Stanishev and Prime Minister of Malta Joseph Muscat will be opening speakers at the event.
PES pre-summit meeting in Malta follows the PES and S&D delegation to Beirut, where Social democrats from Europe and the Middle East elaborate together on the possible developments and ways of solution to the migrant crisis. “European progressives gathered a lot of information and vital facts during our conference in Beirut and our visit to the refugee camps in Lebanon”, PES President Stanishev said on Tuesday.
