Global Progress 2016: Progressive family of Socialists to debate prosperity,  diversity, innovation and digital democracy

PES leaders Lodewijk Asscher (Deputy Prime Minister of The Netherlands, PVDA) and Sigmar Gabriel (Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy in Germany, SPD) are both scheduled to speak later today. 

Under the patronage of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, this is the first time that the Global Progress Summit has taken place in Canada.
