PES President Sergei Stanishev said on the occasion: “I warmly congratulate Christine Muttonen for her new position and her work at the OSCE – the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe. It is very good news to have someone from our political family working for an organisation with a capital role in promoting peace and stability, in our immediate vicinity. The OSCE is responsible for monitoring the Minsk agreement and has been a key mediator between Ukraine and Russia.”
The PES would like to wish a good, productive tenure to the new President and hopes that Ms. Muttonen will continue to support the work of our political family.
