At least twice a year, the PES leadership meets the leaders of our 33 national member parties. Some of these leaders are prime ministers or are in government in their countries. These meetings also gather the leaders of member organisations.
If the President of the European Council belongs to our political family, he or she is invited. This also applies to the President or First Vice-President of the Committee of the Regions.
The aim of the PES Leaders’ Conference is to adopt resolutions and recommendations for the party.
