PES adopts LGBTI rights roadmap in run up to this week Madrid Worldpride
From 29 June – 1 July 2017 the Party of European Socialists together with its PES LGBTI network Rainbow Rose and PSOE will take part in the Worldpride and Europride in Madrid. In the run up the PES Presidency underlined the importance to strengthen LGBTI rights in EU legislation by adopting a roadmap.

European affairs ministers from the Party of European Socialists discussed the lack of any reference to social policy at the upcoming European Council during their meeting in Luxembourg on 20 June. Ministers agreed that a clear schedule for implementing the elements of the EU Social Pillar is crucial.
