PES welcomes EU Court ruling on the Rule of Law and the conditionality of EU funds
The Party of European Socialists warmly welcomes the ruling by the EU Court of Justice dismissing the appeal by Hungary and Poland against the conditionality mechanism which makes EU financing conditional to the respect of the rule of law by the Member States. The PES is committed to keeping the pressure up, to protect the rule of law throughout Europe.
PES congratulates the new socialist prime minister of North Macedonia
The Party of European Socialists congratulates Dimitar Kovachevski, the new prime minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, and the new coalition cabinet led by the Social Democrats. Kovachevski and his government were approved by the parliament in Skopje Sunday night.
