Prime Ministers, Heads of State and high level European officials from the PES family will meet to discuss future actions. It is with deep sadness that we have been informed that our friend Karl A. Duffek passed away at the age of 54.

PES welcomes Christine Muttonen as new President of the Parliamentary Assembly of OSCE

The Party of European Socialists welcomes the election of Christine Muttonen as the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE. Muttonen, a member of Austrian SPÖ and of our political family was previously a Vice-President of that Assembly. Since this year, she is also Special Representative for Central and Eastern Asia.
