PES declares support to the Italian referendum campaign “Basta un Sí”
The Presidency of the Party of European Socialists adopted a declaration to support its Italian member parties Partito Democratico and Partito Socialista in their efforts to modernize the Italian institutional framework, by changing the Constitution, a decision to be put to vote in a referendum on 4 December.

PES Congratulates Georgian Dream, winner in the Parliamentary elections in Georgia
The PES congratulates our observer member party Georgian Dream on their victory in the parliamentary election in Georgia. During the last four years, the social-democratic government led by Giorgi Kvirikashvili proofed country’s strong commitment to democracy and civil rights. The PES is delighted that the election on 8 October have once again confirmed the will of Georgian Dream and of the people of Georgia to have free, fair and peaceful elections.
