PES Council Announced at Presidency Meeting
The Party of European Socialists announced the date of its Council, to be held in Prague on 2 and 3 December this year. “We want the upcoming PES Council to become another platform for discussion among our members, activists and leaders on the future of Europe”, said PES President Sergei Stanishev today, during the PES Presidency meeting in Brussels. He underlined that the European Socialist and Democrats already have started a broad discussion on the role of our political family in relaunching Europe after the Brexit.

At the invitation of the Czech Social Democratic Party – CSSD – and its leadership, the PES Council, bringing together 500 leaders, representatives, activists of our member parties, parliamentary group and member organisations from all over Europe will be held from 1-3 December 2016 in Prague. High Level Progressive Summit in Paris this Thursday
Prime Ministers, Heads of State and high level European officials from the PES family will meet to discuss future actions. The Party of European Socialists will discuss progressive policies to boost growth and jobs at the European level during a meeting at the Château de la Celle Saint-Cloud, near Paris, on Thursday 25th August 2016.
